What is painless delivery and is it safe?
Painless delivery uses epidural anaesthesia to lessen or eliminate pain during labour while keeping you fully awake and alert. It is used widely in leading hospitals around the world and is completely safe in the hands of a trained anaesthesiologist, as is the norm at SBAH. If suitable for your specific situation, Dr Neha may discuss this with you during your antenatal visits.
Is Dr. Neha Kaushal able to treat high risk pregnancies?
Yes. We have specialist back up for high risk cases such as gestational diabetes, twin pregnancies, previous uterine surgery, hypertension in pregnancy and pre-eclampsia. In such cases you don’t need to travel to a larger city.
What do I need to bring to my first antenatal appointment?
Bring previous ultrasound reports, blood test reports and a list of any medication you are currently taking. If this is not your first pregnancy, your previous delivery records are also helpful. Book your first appointment by calling 99926-30762.
Do you offer fertility treatments and IUI?
Yes. Dr. Neha Kaushal recommends IUI after a thorough evaluation of the couple. The department handles the hormonal assessment, cycle monitoring and the procedure itself. If you require a fertility treatment more advanced than IUI, she will be upfront with you about the next steps.
Can I get my full pregnancy follow up at SBAH?
Dr Neha at SBAH manages the entire antenatal journey for many patients from Ambala, Karnal, Kaithal and nearby areas. The standard of care here is such that most patients feel the travel is worthwhile and the drive is manageable. In case of any emergency, we have a 24×7 available team and an ambulance on call.
